Massage Therapy with Evandro Raska, LMT, CNA

Every massage begins with a conversation. Before the session starts, Evandro takes the time to understand what is bothering you, what your goals are, and how your body has been feeling so the treatment can be tailored to your needs that day.

As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Nursing Assistant, Evandro Raska believes massage should never be one-size-fits-all. Some clients are looking for relaxation and stress relief. Others are dealing with chronic tension, muscle soreness, old injuries, or areas that never seem to loosen up, no matter what they try.

His approach is simple: listen first, understand what’s going on, and tailor the session to the person in front of him. Whether the goal is relaxation, recovery, or ongoing therapeutic work, each session is designed around the individual rather than a standard routine.

Why One Massage Usually Isn't Enough

One of the most common questions massage therapists hear is, "Can you fix this in one session?"

The honest answer is: probably not.

Most muscle tension, tightness, and discomfort don't appear overnight. They build over time from stress, repetitive movements, poor posture, physically demanding activities, old injuries, and the habits of everyday life.

Because these issues develop gradually, meaningful improvement often takes time and consistency. While many clients feel relief after a single session, lasting results typically come from a treatment plan that allows the body to respond, recover, and adapt.

Every person is different. Factors such as activity level, stress, sleep, posture, previous injuries, and overall health all influence how quickly changes occur. There is no universal timeline, and each body responds to treatment in its own way.

For many people in our area of Flemington and Hunterdon County, massage therapy becomes more than an occasional treat. It becomes part of how they manage stress, recover from physical demands, and take better care of their bodies over time.
